Australian Cameron Davis won his first PGA Tour tournament at the end of the 5th play-off hole played on the Detroit Golf Club course in Michigan. Davis (26) won at the expense of American Troy Merritt on hole 15, a par 3 of 128 meters, thanks to a last par. This is his first success on the PGA Tour.
Previously, the Chilean Joaquin Niemann had left this play off of the Rocket Mortgage Classic on the first hole on a bogey… after having previously completed the four rounds (72 holes) without committing any!
