The Danish international returned to the pitch and played his first official match on Monday since his dramatic cardiac arrest on June 12 during the Euro match between Denmark and Finland, announced his club on Twitter.
Now linked with English Premier League outfit Brentford, Christian Eriksen played a friendly match behind closed doors against Southend United. Eight months after his accident, Eriksen was active during the hour he played. He even sent an assist. Brentford won 3-2.
