Free medicine for women

Construction of a new Health Center to care for women in the region will begin next month in this city, according to what was announced by Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, in the framework of the inauguration of the repair of Avenida Vicente C. Salazar, yesterday morning in this city.

Gallardo Cardona, accompanied by Mayor David Medina Salazar, local deputy René Oyarvide Ibarra, state and municipal officials, inaugurated the repair of the important road.

In this event, the state president announced that this Health Center will start operating in April, which, in first instance, it will serve 15,000 women through a pink card.

He stated that in the same way a similar Health Center will be built in Tamazunchale, Rioverde and Matehuala.

He revealed that the number of services in this new Health Center will gradually increase and that at the end of the six-year term all the women of San Luis Potosí will have free medical care, access to a dentist and even a nutritionist.

He also announced that next week he will return to Ciudad Valles to start the construction of the new Civil Guard barracks and the surveillance center, in addition to the fact that there will be detector arches at the entrances and exits of the city.

He pointed out that there will also be drones for surveillance, both in this municipality and in the rest of the Huasteca.
