Other sanctions might include direct sanctions for deliveries of oil and gas. But that probably won’t be necessary because Russian oil is hardly ever bought anymore. There are no ways to transport this oil by tanker because the big shipping companies avoid Russia. Insurance companies are demanding higher premiums, banks are withdrawing their loans, and western oil companies are also withdrawing from Russia, see BP.
