Elden Ring was now completed in just one hour

This week it was informed that a speedrunner named Niko Bellic managed to finish Elden Ring in no more and no less than two and a half hours. Quite a feat considering that the average time to finish the campaign is 44 hours. But to Bellic’s surprise, his record was broken in just days, as a new player named LilAggy he was able to finish the game in less than an hour.

To be exact, LilAggy completed the game in 59 minutes and 38 seconds. To do this, the user used a series of mechanisms and tools that helped him finish the FromSoftware challenge faster. One of them is to be transported to the Volcano Mansion at the beginning of the game thanks to the attack of a specific enemy. This is a late area of the Elden Ring, and thanks to certain deaths it goes straight to that region.

Another element that the player uses is to choose the Samurai class, since the katana has good damage once morest bosses, in addition to having the Icerind Hatchet ability that allows you to increase your health more. In her video, LilAggy commented on how she calculates the time to progress through the game.

“This run is timed using In Game Time (IGT). On-screen timer displays exact IGT directly from game memory; it is the same number you would see on the game loading screen from the main menu”said the player. Furthermore, he assures that in the future Elden Ring can be finished even in less than 50 minutes.
