Samsung’s model comes with a 5000 mAh battery, while Apple’s comes with 4352 mAh. On paper, a victory for the Galaxy S22 Ultra was expected, yet this is not the case at all. We noted an autonomy of 17 h 27 min – lower than that of the previous model. At Apple, the iPhone 13 Pro Max lasts more than 27 hours. A measure to put into perspective since we do not use the same protocols at Android as at Apple. However, by doing the equivalence, we can last regarding a day and a half with the 13 Pro Max, which is not the case with the S22 Ultra which struggles to spend the day of use.
On recharging, Samsung wins hands down with a smartphone that recovers 100% in just under an hour thanks to a 45 W block. Apple is still and always behind on the subject of fast charging, with a block of 20 W which allows a charge in 1 h 30 min.
Finally, note that, in an ecological approach, the two manufacturers no longer include a charger in their boxes.
