The first duels in Tyrolean mayoral runoff elections have been decided – Tyrol

Innsbruck – In Tyrol, a total of 27 duels for the mayoralty go into a second and decisive round. After the local council and mayoral direct elections on February 27, no candidate in 31 municipalities had achieved the necessary absolute majority in these direct elections. In the four towns of Völs, Wattens, Wörgl and Nassereith, however, one person in each case gave up in advance, which is why the runoff elections are omitted there.
