Dubai: Umm al-Quwain has announced a three-day weekend holiday in the emirate of Ramadan. In addition to Saturdays and Sundays, Fridays are also holidays. The official working hours of Ramadan in the emirate are from Monday to Thursday from 9am to 2.30pm.
Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Muallah, a member of the Supreme Council and the ruler of Umm al – Quwain, has been given another leave of absence on Friday.
From the beginning of this year, the working hours in the UAE were fixed at two and a half days. The current weekend is half day on Friday and full day on Saturday and Sunday. But Sharjah has a full holiday on Friday.
