Grandal, Cease guided the White Sox to Detroit

DETROIT — Dylan Cease was undefeated in 10 starts once morest Detroit and Yasmani Grandal hit a two-run homer to lead the Chicago White Sox to a 5-2 victory over the Tigers on Saturday.

Cease (1-0) allowed one run and two hits in just over five innings, with eight strikeouts and three walks. He is 9-0 once morest the Tigers.
