WASHINGTON (USA) .- mission astronauts SpaceX Crew-4 entered official quarantine in preparation for their flight rotation of the staff of the International Space Station (ISS), transpired today.
Kjell Lindgren, Bob Hines Y Jessica Watkins, members of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Y Samantha Cristoforetti, of the European Space Agency (ESA), are scheduled to travel before the end of the month -following the 21st-, the first company specified on its website.
The Expedition 67 flight crew health stabilization period is a somewhat routine part of final preparations for all missions, a statement clarified.
Additional adjustments may be required as of the date of crew-4 Launch, according to the weather and the preparation of the Crew-4 vehicle, added the message, which ratified the departure of a new SpaceX Crew Dragon, called Freedom, on the Falcon 9 rocket from Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Crew-4 will run a short overlay with Raja Chari, Tom Marshburn Y Kayla Barron, from NASA; and from the ESA Matthew Maurer, who moved over as part of SpaceX Crew-3 in November 2021.
Also in the space module located in low Earth orbit are cosmonauts from the Russian agency Roscosmos Oleg Artemiev, Denis Matveev Y Sergey Korsakov, members of the nave Soyuz, which departed on March 18 of this year.
The teams of the crew-4 mission closely monitor the atmosphere and operational timelines related to Axiom Mission 1, the first civilian astronaut mission at the moment on the ISS.
