Which services, businesses and activities will be open and which will be closed during the Easter weekend? Here’s what to expect for the long leave.

The doors of grocery stores, pharmacies and shopping centers will be open on Friday April 15, Saturday April 16 and Monday April 18.

On Sunday April 17, only a few pharmacies and small grocery stores will be open, while supermarkets and shopping centers will be closed. Convenience stores will be open all weekend.

In Quebec, most branches of the Société des alcools (SAQ) will be open from Friday, April 15 to Monday, April 18 inclusively. Only the Classique and Express stores – unlike the Dépôt, Sélection and Signature stores – will however be open on Sunday, April 17.

As for the branches of the Société québécoise du cannabis (SQDC), they will be open on Friday April 15, Saturday April 16 and Monday April 18, but closed on Sunday April 17.

Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) stores will be closed Friday, April 15 and Sunday, April 17. Some stores will operate with reduced hours on Monday, April 18. The branches of The Beer Store will be closed Friday and Sunday.

Restaurants, bars and gas stations will be open throughout the Easter holiday.

Banks and cash desks will be closed from Friday April 15 to Sunday April 17, but open on Monday April 18, with certain exceptions.

Canada Post counters will be closed on Friday April 15 and Monday April 18.

Provincial and federal service points will be closed Friday and Monday.
