Mathijs de Jonge, creative director of Horizon Forbidden West, talks regarding the end of the second game, which remains open, without too many spoilers. According to the creative director, the cliffhanger “ is once once more here to set things up for the next game. Note that this was already the case in the first episode, Horizon Zero Dawn. Mathijs de Jonge also mentions that Guerrilla Games can tap into the rich and expansive history of Aloy’s story to create new mysteries and new intrigues.
