After the “episode of the sanitary cordon” which had, a week ago, heated relations between PS, Écolo, Engagés and MR, the socialists seemed willing to fight it out… And the fact that the liberals had chosen a red bastion, Herstal, for their blue May Day had even more agitated the socialist landerneau.
“The president of MR can parade in Herstal, no one is fooled. Workers know that the Liberals have never done anything for them, and will never do anything for them. The workers have not forgotten the sinister results of the five years of social regression of the MR-N-VA government”, launched the president of the PS, Paul Magnette.
