From the minister’s chair on Vienna’s Minoritenplatz to the little dance with Russia’s ruler Vladimir Putin in Gamlitz in southern Styria, it may soon be on the EU’s sanctions list – and that in less than four years: If the European Parliament has its way, the list of those whose assets should be on EU -Area to be frozen by at least two people because of their controversial work for the Russian energy company Rosneft. In addition to the former German Chancellor and Putin friend Gerhard Schröder (SPD), the name Karin Kneissl was also mentioned in the resolution adopted on Thursday.
