During the day last Thursday two people were rescued after falling into a tank full of chocolate at the “Mars Wrigley” candy factory in Pennsylvania, United States.
As reported NY Postthe incident occurred a little before 2 p.m. while the subjects were performing maintenance worksalthough the reasons that triggered the accident are still unknown.
The workers were trapped up to their waists in chocolate and had to be rescued by a team of firefighters – who made a hole in the tank to get them out safely – to later be transferred to a hospital.
Meanwhile, the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration reported that it is investigating the incident, and refused to give further statements.
