Las Internet service failures Telmex reported by users on Monday followingnoon were caused by vandalism, reported the company of the giant América Móvil without giving further details.
Derived from this, Telmex explained that their Internet services presented a degradation in navigation to internet sites hosted abroad.
“Some users in the cities of Obregón, Mazatlán and the south of Mexico City, might register connection problems,” Telmex said in a statement.
The company added that the degradation has already been resolved and its services operate normally. “Telmex offers an apology for the inconvenience,” she concluded.
According to the portal DownDetectoraround 4:00 p.m., a peak over 800 user reports with service problems.
Los reports came from different cities of the Republic, highlighting the cases of Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Hermosillo and Guaymas.
