Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in light of the resignation of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, has expressed confidence that Britain’s policy towards Ukraine will not change.
According to CNN reports, Zelensky described Johnson as a “true friend of Ukraine” and expressed confidence that London’s policy toward Ukraine would not change despite the British prime minister’s resignation.
Johnson announced on Thursday that he will step down as prime minister and leader of Britain’s Conservative Party, and will serve as prime minister until a new party leader is appointed.
