Several Brussels residents were concerned to see an F-16 flying near an airliner on Tuesday afternoon.
Footage shows the F-16 getting dangerously close to another plane and then overtaking it.
Fortunately, there was nothing to worry about. Contacted by our colleagues from The last news, Skeyes, in charge of air traffic control, says it was actually a drill for the National Day parade. Indeed, on July 21, the army’s F-16s have a tradition of flying over the capital and its surroundings.
