Donny has made 50 appearances for United since signing in September 2020 from Ajax, but spent the second half of last season at Goodison Park with the Toffees.
The midfielder has had a few injury issues which have limited his playing time on Merseyside, but he still believes the temporary switch will be useful going forward.
