Yesterday, the Lebanese delegation left table tennis to participate in the West Asian Championship, which will be held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, from 26 to 31 July, for age groups (double and single teams for males and females) and singles for men and women. The mission consists of Naji Halal (chairman), Sehak Badinian (administrative), Ahmed Harb (coach), and the players: Lea Assaf, Leticia Azar, Christy Arida, Laurie Yehnanian, Maryam Al-Habsh, Talia Azar, Maria Tannous, Yasmina Al-Habash, Bessan Sherry, Ibrahim Badi, Muhammad Al-Habash, Saad Al-Habash, Riyadh Al-Mawlawi, Ramiz Daqduqi, Ahmed Fahs and Teo Shambour. The Al-Antranic Club for males and Al-Ahly Club for the females will also participate in the West Asian Clubs Championship, which will be held from July 31 to August 6. The Vice-President of the West Asian Federation and the President of the Lebanese Table Tennis Federation, George Copley, will participate in the General Assembly meeting on the sidelines of the regional championship.
