FC Bayern is still trying to get the services of ÖFB team player Konrad Laimer from league rival RB Leipzig. So far, however, no agreement has been reached between the two clubs.
As the “Bild” reports, Leipzig have now set a deadline for Bayern by which the change must be completed. Accordingly, this period runs until the Supercup duel between the two teams on Saturday.
FC Bayern is still “optimistic” that the change will go through. However, both parties are still too far apart when it comes to the transfer fee. Leipzig is still demanding 30 million for Laimer, Bayern recently offered 23 million plus bonuses for the native of Salzburg, whose contract expires in the summer of 2023.
