On July 9, the actress had asked for the reversal of the verdict in the lawsuit for defamation which opposed her to Johnny Depp. Amber Heard had invoked, through the voice of her lawyers, a “fraud” on the composition of the jury. One of the jurors, aged 52, had indeed presented himself in place of his 77-year-old father, who bore the same name and who lived at the same address. The star’s request forAquaman however, was dismissed by the judge, who found that no evidence of wrongdoing might be found.

It is therefore another setback for Amber Heard, who will have to pay 10.4 million dollars to Johnny Depp (who must himself pay her 2 million). As bad news never comes alone, the actress learned that her insurers refused to settle the bill and cover her legal fees. The case is therefore seriously complicated for Amber, who has already made it known that she might not afford to pay her debt to her ex-husband.
