In the details, Barcelona sold 25% of the rights to broadcast its matches for the next 25 years, and announced that its revenues from the sale were 667 million euros, but the “La Liga” said that the amount is 435 million euros and that the 150 million euros is a trick from Barcelona to buy the rights for himself through an investment company he founded. According to the report, Barcelona formed a company called Loxley Invest with an American investment financing company called “Sixth Street.” The American company, with Barcelona, ​​owns 50 percent of Loxley Invest. Barcelona is trying to manage the remaining 150 million euros in order to be able to register its new players, and according to the report, it must pay other amounts to its stars amounting to 262 million pounds in wages for four of its players according to the contracts they signed in October 2020, which provided for wage installments to help the club in the short term.

The four players are Gerard Pique, goalkeeper Ter Stegen, Clement Lenglet and Frenkie de Jong, and the club is trying to persuade the four to waive the sums owed.

The club raised the pressure on its Dutch star, Frenkie de Jong, and sent him a letter questioning the legality of the extension contract he signed with the administration in October 2020 in an attempt to pressure him to leave and provide the club with funds thanks to which he can register new players.
