A Belgian vacationing in Croatia pressed the orange alert us button to let us know he had shared “to his surprise a boat trip with the royal family”. Our sovereigns Philippe and Mathilde, accompanied by their 4 children, took a boat to go to the island of Mljet. Our witness describes the scene to us: “I heard a familiar voice. I said to myself that this voice meant something to me and then I immediately recognized Queen Mathilde.”
Surrounding their parents, Princesses Elisabeth and Eléonore, Princes Emmanuel and Gabriel were also on the trip.
Nicknamed “the green island”, Mljet is home to one of the most beautiful national parks in Croatia.
