Substitute David Alaba scored a direct free kick goal and led Real Madrid to beat hosts Almeria 2-1 at the start of the two teams’ campaigns in the Spanish Football League.
Real Madrid – who is defending his title in the Spanish League – missed a lot of opportunities against newly promoted Almeria to the top flight, in light of the clear brilliance of Andalusian club goalkeeper Fernando Martinez.
