Austrian bobsledder Katrin Beierl suffered a stroke while on vacation in Peru. As the 29-year-old Olympic participant in two-man bobsleigh announced on Instagram on Tuesday, she had lost a large part of her sight in her left eye. Fortunately, that is the only symptom that the two-time EM third has to struggle with. It is still unclear at the moment how things will continue in the future for the overall World Cup winner of the 2020/21 season.
