HSBC has announced the appointment of Julian Wenzel as Head of Global Banking for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. Following regulatory approval, Julian will take up his role in Dubai from 18 September 2022. Julian will move from London where he is currently Head of Global Banking for HSBC Group in the UK and Europe. He has over 25 years of experience in banking across client coverage, capital markets and advisory services. Stephen Moss, Group Executive Director and Regional Chief Executive Officer for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey at HSBC Bank Middle East Limited, said: “Julian has extensive experience in providing outstanding services to clients around the world and in leading high-performance teams. His joining HSBC Bank Middle East Limited will be a significant added value to our senior leadership team, as we continue to work on executing our group’s growth strategy in this critical region.”
