“I wait for you in the afterlife, oppressor.” An Egyptian youth commits suicide during a live broadcast

Today, Friday, a young man from the Beheira governorate in the north of the country committed suicide during a live broadcast on Facebook by eating two pills.

“I wait for you in the herefollowing”

In the live broadcast, the young man spoke regarding being subjected to great injustice by one of his villagers, and said: “I am waiting for you in the herefollowing because you have wronged me.” He explained that one of his relatives accused him of “photographing his wife.”

Before his suicide, the young man defended himself, stressing that he did not sin once morest anyone and that the person who accused him of the accusations is a liar, pointing out that “he will relieve his family of him so that he does not cause them trouble, and he will only punish those who wronged him and take his right from him on the Day of Resurrection.”

Attempts to save him failed

After the live broadcast, and as soon as his family learned of the incident, they immediately transferred him to the poison center in Alexandria in an attempt to save him, but he breathed his last upon his arrival at the hospital.

During the clip, the young man in his thirties recommended his sons close to him, and then tears flowed profusely.

For its part, the Public Prosecution has begun an investigation into the incident, and it is scheduled to summon those mentioned by name in the “last live”.
