Al-Marsad Newspaper: A report by Al-Ekhbariya channel revealed the most prominent methods of fraud in coffee in the Kingdom’s markets.
One of the merchants said: Brazilian, Colombian, Abyssinian, Vietnamese, Indian, Ugandan and Indonesian coffee.
Another merchant explained that some sellers mix Chinese coffee, the price of which is 1100 riyals per bag, with Yemeni wild coffee, and the price of the bag is 2300 riyals, and they are similar in shape and different in taste.
And a merchant continued: Chinese coffee is small and used mostly with Yemeni, and there is Indian coffee and it is considered a rarity, and not everyone takes it and knows its value, stressing that the coffee hummus is the basis for the taste.
