AMD officially announced processors Ryzen 7000, which will go on sale on September 27th. A pleasant surprise was that the new product will boast higher performance than previously expected.
- Ryzen 9 7950X (16 cores and 32 threads) – $699.
- Ryzen 9 7900X (12 cores and 24 threads) – $549.
- Ryzen 7 7700X (8 cores and 16 threads) – $399.
- Ryzen 5 7600X (6 cores and 12 threads) – $299.
The company reported an increase in IPC (instructions per clock) up to 15%. At the same time, an increase in single-threaded performance of up to 29% is expected.
The Ryzen 5 7600X delivered an average of 5% faster multi-game performance compared to Intel’s Core i9 12900K.
The releases of the new chips together with the X670 and X670 Extreme motherboards with the new AM5 connector are scheduled for the end of September. The new B650 and B650 Extreme chipsets will only go on sale from October.
