Benfica announced the signing of German Julian Draxler from Paris Sam Germain.
Draxler hopes to regain his form with Benfica months before the start of the World Cup in Qatar, where Flick has many options in the midfield for the German national team.
Draxler, 28, has played for Paris Saint-Germain since 2017, and won him many titles, most notably the French League four times.
Benfica’s official website stated that the 2014 World Cup winner had moved on loan from Paris Saint-Germain for one season.
