Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Emirati singer Ahlam Al Shamsi responded, through her Twitter account, to a Saudi media tweet, who said that she “will not become an authenticity,” stressing that she does not want to be anything but herself.

And the Saudi journalist, Fahd Al-Ahmadi, wrote, through his Twitter account: “You will not become Asala,” commenting on a tweet from journalist Abdul Razzaq Al-Bajali, who published a video clip of one of Ahlam’s songs, saying: “Tell me regarding art, I will tell you regarding dreams.”

Ahlam responded to Al-Ahmadi’s tweet, saying: “Oh my friend, who told you that my father (I want) to be authentic, I am dreams and my father is nothing but dreams.”

Ahlam is scheduled to participate in a concert in Saudi Arabia, next Friday, as part of the Kingdom’s celebrations of the 92nd National Day.
