Okaz learned from well-informed sources that the Ministry of Health has recently recovered sums of money from leaders in Taif Health Hospitals, after it was proven that they were not entitled to allowances that had been paid to them for years. The sources said: “These leaders receive a work nature allowance of 20%, which called on the competent authorities in the ministry to recover the spent money.” The sources indicated that some employees of the “Taif Health Department” were assigned to work in health centers, and the allowances paid to them were not stopped, at a time when the human resources in health were supposed to feel that the allowances had been stopped; In return for assigning them to other regions inside and outside the governorate. The sources confirmed that the health of Al-Taif will pay the damage allowance to groups that do not have the right to pay the allowance within the list of rights and benefits according to the regulations.
In the same context, the sources confirmed to “Okaz” that the Ministry of Health asked “Taif Health” once again to form a committee to study all allowances in its hospitals and health centers. “Okaz” reviewed the letter of the Director of Health Affairs in Taif, which stipulates the formation of a committee consisting of six members from human resources, salaries and benefits administration, children’s hospital, Irada complex, and mental health, to study allowances in Taif health.
This comes after the observations made by the Salaries and Allowances Department in the Ministry of Health that there are employees who are paid allowances and the conditions and controls for disbursing allowances do not apply to them.
