Nobody discovers it: the cohabitation between Christophe Galtier and Julien Fournier in Nice was rough or even chaotic. The polar relations between the two men have been public knowledge since the departure of the first for PSG this summer. Fournier had already shot a first arrow last June: “You never know a person until you work with them“, he had mysteriously let go.
But on Wednesday, on the antennas of RMC, the former director of football of the Aiglons went much further in his accusations. If he remained vague about the very nature of their estrangement, Fournier did not mince his words: “It is true that it is common knowledge that the relationship I could have with Christophe was quite chaotic from the start of the season. Quite honestly, if I explain the real reasons why we argued, because that’s really the word, Christophe will no longer enter a locker room, neither in France nor in Europe“, dropped Fournier without saying more, leaving us to imagine the worst about the behavior of his former coach.
