(Archyde.com) – Producer prices in the French market rose +2.7% in August as prices for mining, energy and water products accelerated, data showed. published Friday by INSEE.
The producer price index in July was revised upwards to +1.9% (against +1.6% in the first estimate), after taking into account consolidated data on producer and trade prices for electricity, says the institute.
The prices of extractive industry products, energy, water accelerated over one month to +10.1% against 8.3% in July.
The prices of manufactured products continued to fall, however, at -0.5% in August, as in July.
