Moon not sighted in Pakistan, 1st Dhul-Qaida will be on May 10 – Pakistan

The moon of Dhul-Qaida was not sighted in Pakistan today, the 1st of Dhul-Qaida will be on May 10.

Under the patronage of Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, the meeting of the central Sighting of the Crescent Committee was held in Islamabad, in which testimonies were collected from all over the country, but the moon of Dhul-Qa’da 1445 Hijri was not seen.

After the announcement of the Rawit Hilal Committee, a notification was issued by the Ministry, according to which the 1st Dhul-Qaida will be held on May 10, Friday.

On the other hand, Egypt’s National Institute of Astronomical and Geophysical Research has predicted that the Dhul-Hijjah moon will rise on Thursday, June 6 at 2:39 Cairo time.

A report released by the institute explained that the first day of Eid al-Adha 2024 in Egypt will be on Sunday, June 16, 2024, while Waqf Arafa will be on June 15. Thus the month of Dhul Hajj will begin on Friday 7th June 2024.
