Al-Marsad newspaper: A group of aerial photos showed the overturning of the hull of the yacht “Al-Mansour” belonging to the late Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, on the banks of the Shatt al-Arab.
The pictures showed the yacht capsizing at the confluence of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in the Iraqi city of Basra.
It is worth noting that the yacht “Al-Mansour”, which Saddam never rode, sank in the Shatt al-Arab waterway that passes through Basra after it was bombed by American planes, during the American invasion of Iraq, and then its contents were looted in the chaos that followed the overthrow of Saddam’s regime.
