Melbourne ∙ Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell will miss the big matches, including the tour of India in February, following suffering an injury in a fall while attending a friend’s 50th birthday party. The thirty-four-year-old star, who injured his left leg, underwent surgery yesterday.
Maxwell has been replaced by Sean Abbott in the one-day series once morest England starting in Adelaide on Thursday. The star will also miss the Big Bash League starting on December 13.
