José Alfredo Hurtado Olascoaga, alias ‘El Fresa’, appeared in an unusual video in early October alleging that he had been the target of an attack by an armed group in the mountain community of San Miguel Totolapa, in the state of Guerrero, which left twenty people dead, including the mayor of that municipality, Conrado Mendoza Almeida , and his father, who also ruled the town.
