The penalty shoot-out between Ghazl El-Mahalla and Aswan in the League Cup ended, with El-Mahalla winning 3/1, in the match that brought them together this evening, Saturday, at Aswan Stadium, in the preliminary round of the Professional Clubs League Cup, so that the El-Mahalla team qualified for the round of 16 in the Cup.
The regular time and the extra periods ended in a goalless draw, so a penalty shootout was resorted to in order to determine the qualified team.
Today, the new edition of the Professional Clubs League Cup was launched, and it started with the Aswan and Al-Ghazal match, while the second will be held between Haras El-Hodoud and the Ministry of Interior at 6:00 pm at the Petrosport Stadium.
