A 17-year-old probationary driver’s license holder committed a drunk escape following a car accident on Saturday evening in Bad Hofgastein in Salzburg’s Pongau region. The young man touched the car of a 28-year-old on the Gasteiner Bundesstraße and left the scene of the accident, the Salzburg state police reported on Sunday. A little later he was found by the police.

An alcohol test showed a value of 2.6 per thousand. The 17-year-old had to hand in his probationary driver’s license. Nobody was injured in the accident.
