The Roscosmos Foundation has announced that the orbit of the International Space Station has been adjusted in preparation for the launch of the Soyuz MS-23 manned spacecraft.
According to the “RT” website, the organization shows that the process of raising the station’s orbit was carried out with the help of the engines of the Russian “Progress MS-20” aircraft, and it took 712.5 seconds.
According to preliminary data, the average elevation of the International Station’s track increased by 2.1 kilometers after the operation, and it became 417.6 kilometers above the ground.
Interestingly, the manned spacecraft “Soyuz MS-23” is scheduled to be launched in March 2023.
