It has been predicted that NVIDIA will change the production of RTX 40 series graphics cards.
The content is a prediction that AD102 production applied to the RTX 4090 series will increase, while AD103 used for the RTX 4080 will be reduced. The forecast for this change in production is interpreted as a measure in response to sluggish demand for the existing RTX 4080.
In relation to this, it is estimated that more than 130,000 units of NVIDIA RTX 4090 have been sold, and more than 30,000 units of RTX 4080 have been sold so far.
Market situation: RTX 4090 cannot be sold due to lack of stock, while RTX 4080 is rather declining in price due to large inventory, so it is analyzed that NVIDIA is trying to respond to market conditions.
