UPDATE: It’s since been confirmed that the TDU Connect show will feature actual gameplay from Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown, and the gameplay imagery mentioned isn’t just about gameplay screenshots. ORIGINAL: There’s been a whole flurry of rumors lately, each of which suggests that Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown has been delayed until 2024. Neither publisher Nacon nor developer KT Racing have properly addressed the rumors, but it looks like it will happen soon, as the TDU Connect event has now been announced. It will be a 30-minute show that promises to showcase “unforgettable images and some real surprises”. Anyone hoping this will include gameplay should temper their expectations, as the announcement for the show specifically states that this time it will only be gameplay images… considering TDU Connect’s announcement made no mention of a release date, and There won’t be any gameplay, and we seem to be delaying the game and pushing it to sometime in 2024.
