DOHA, December 16, WAM / Zlatko Dalic, the coach of the Croatian national football team, affirmed his full respect for the Moroccan national team and his desire to win third place in the 2022 World Cup.
The Croatian and Moroccan national teams will meet tomorrow, Saturday, in the match for third place in the 2022 World Cup, noting that the two teams met together at the beginning of their tournament and tied negatively in the group stage.
Dalic said – in his team’s press conference today – that tomorrow’s match is very important and will be very strong, indicating his great respect for the Moroccan national team, which dazzled all those who watched the tournament and surprised everyone with what it presented.
He added: I think they have the same mentality, as this match is important for them as well, and they will field a strong squad .. We do not think regarding what the opponent says because we are fully aware that they will compete strongly for third place, and we expect a strong match.
He said: Of course, we hoped to repeat the achievement that we achieved 4 years ago, when the team won second place in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, but what is important for us now is that we return to the homeland winning the third place.
