by Alexandra Hartman Editor-in-Chief

An hour and a half later at 9:20 p.m. an armed robbery was perpetrated in a store in Louvain-la-Neuve. This time, two hooded individuals burst into a business located along rue du Lac, in the neo-Louvanist district of Hocaille. Under the threat of a handgun, apparently dummy, they demanded that the contents of the crate be handed over to them. They then fled, taking a sum of several hundred euros.

That’s not all. In Wavre this time, a robbery was perpetrated at the start of the weekend in a night store located on the Chaussée de Bruxelles, we learned on Monday from the Walloon Brabant prosecutor’s office. A man wearing a hood and a mouth mask showed up at the sign on Friday evening around 9:20 p.m. The suspect brandished a handgun, demanding that the contents of the crate be returned to him, before fleeing on foot.

Friday evening this time, a service station in Braine-le-Château was also robbed. Shortly before the closing of the station shop located along the chaussée de Tubize, Friday evening around 7:30 p.m., an attendant was busy cleaning the premises when a man dressed in a black jacket and wearing a motorcycle helmet made burst. The suspect asked the employee to give him the contents of the cash register. As it was not executed quickly enough, the thug exhibited a knife. The victim then opened the cash drawer. The man seized several banknotes before fleeing.
