Thiruvananthapuram | State committee member P Jayarajan has made serious financial allegations once morest LDF convener EP Jayarajan. It is alleged that EP Jayarajan acquired property illegally. The allegation was made in the state committee meeting held on Thursday. CPM State Secretary MV Govindan requested that a complaint be filed for investigation in this regard.
P Jayarajan accused EP Jayarajan of committing a crores of corruption by hiding a private company called Kannur Ayurveda Medical Care Limited. A company called Kannur Ayurveda Limited was established in 2014 at an address near Jayarajan’s house in Kannur. It is alleged that the company run by EP Jayarajan’s wife and son are the directors of the resort. P Jayarajan said that the allegations are made on the basis of documents. He demanded an inquiry into the incident and action should be taken. EP Jayarajan did not participate in the state committee. Responding to the discussions in the state committee, the state secretary clarified that the allegation would be investigated if a written complaint is submitted.
