Indian Cricket Team will reach Thiruvananthapuram on Friday BCCI | Sports

Thiruvananthapuram – Kariyavattam Greenfield Sports Hub is ready for the third match of the ODI series between India and Sri Lanka. The match will start at 1.30 pm on Sunday (15). Both the teams will reach Thiruvananthapuram on 13th. The teams will reach Thiruvananthapuram airport at 4 pm on a special Air Vistara flight from Kolkata. The Indian team is staying at the Hyatt Regency and the Sri Lankan team is staying at the Taj Vivanta.

Both the teams will train at the Greenfield Stadium on the 14th. The Sri Lankan team will train at the stadium from 1 pm to 4 pm and the Indian team from 5 pm to 8 pm. The match officials will also reach Thiruvananthapuram along with the teams. Nitin Menon and JR. Madanagopal also controls the match on the field. Anil Chaudhary is the TV umpire. K.N. Ananthapadmanabhan will be the fourth umpire and Javagal Srinath will be the match referee.

This is the second ODI to be played at Kariyavattam Greenfield Stadium. The first one-day international match at the stadium was held on November 1, 2018. India had won the match against West Indies that day. The first international match at the stadium was a Twenty20 match between India and New Zealand on November 7, 2017. India won the match which was reduced to eight overs due to rain. After that, Team India defeated the West Indies in the Twenty20 on December 8, 2019. The match at the stadium was held on September 28, 2022 after a long break due to Covid. India won the match against South Africa.

Ticket sales for the match are in progress. The ticket price is Rs 1000 for upper tier and Rs 2000 for lower tier. Tickets will be available online from Paytm Insider. 500 for students. Tickets for students should be purchased through the respective educational institutions. Contact the Kerala Cricket Association by including the name and ID number of the students who need tickets on the letterhead of the educational institution.
