With the heavy rains that have fallen in recent hours, the Eau Noire and its tributaries have entered the flood alert phase, the Hydrometry portal of the Walloon public service (SPW) indicated on Sunday morning.

“Levels will remain on the upside and the expected high should be reached during the morning”, specifies the site. In addition, the Eau d’Heure, the Haute and Basse Sambre, the lower Ourthe, the Vesdre, the Amblève, the Our, the Senne, the Viroin, the Basse and Haute Lesse, the Haute Meuse downstream and upstream , the Sûre, the Basse, Moyenne and Haute Semois, the Chiers, the Vierre and their tributaries are still classified in the pre-flood alert phase. The rest of the Walloon territory is considered to be in the “normal” phase.
