Belarusian-Chinese tractors are still to be tested during the spring field work. However, the first batch of 100 Weichai engines has been contracted: delivery to MTZ will be in March. Yury Kozlovsky stressed that the Belarus-3522 tractor was originally designed for different engines, and to adapt the Chinese unit, it was only necessary to redo the cooling, exhaust and fuel systems, as well as recalibrate the control unit.
